Interested in moto class

Hello, I am very interested in competing in the motorcycle class. I really know next to nothing about this type of racing other than what I have seen of Dakar. I have participated in many hare and hound races, Baja 1000 two times and Vegas to Reno. I am wondering what type of basic equipment I would need to purchase to aid me in my efforts to race. Roll chart, ICO, specialized GPS software etc... etc... I have two bikes that fit the qualifications. A CRF450X and KTM 990 Adv.
